With May 6th, 2019 all users who have previously been in the "European CME credits" system have been switched to the "AMA PRA category 1" system.
Please read the FAQs below if your account has been switched.
You still have questions? Please do not hesitate to get in touch with our customer service team via the "Submit a Request" button.
Why?
As our global community has grown substantially in the last years, we wished to also offer CME credits to our users worldwide. As AMA PRA category 1 credits are broadly accepted, we have decided that this is the best way to go at this moment.
All of our courses are now certified for AMA PRA category 1 CME credits and ABIM Maintenance of Certification credits, as well as now recognized by the ARDMS for registered sonographers.
As your account has been in the "European CME credit's system", but all our newer courses which have been launched since 2017 are only certified for the AMA PRA category 1 credits.
Therefore, you can only receive CME credits for these courses with your account change.
I have already finished several / all chapters of my course. Do I still have access to my ECMEC certificates?
Yes. If you have been previously in the "European" system and have successfully finished chapters in the courses stated below*, your certificates are ready to be downloaded in your profile.
My Account > My EBAC certificates
My progress is gone. How do I receive my diploma?
With the switch to the AMA PRA category 1 credits' system all your quiz results had to be be reset. Therefore in order to receive your diploma, please retake the quizzes and complete the evaluation forms.
Of course you do not have to watch all video lectures again.
We are aware that this certainly is not a 10-minute-task, but keep in mind that in studying repetition is key.
Are AMA PRA category 1 credits accepted in my country?
If you are unsure whether AMA PRA category 1 credits are accepted in your country, please check with your medical board or institution.
